Academic engagement opportunities

Scottish Parliament staff need access to relevant and timely evidence and an awareness of key policy issues. They draw upon many sources, including academic expertise.

We manage a range of activities for individual academics and higher education institutions.  Through these activities, they can get involved in the work of Parliament.

Our programme for Academic Engagement aims to strengthen links with Scotland's universities. It also aims to better understand what is happening in academia and vice versa.
