Congratulating Lanarkshire Nurses on Receiving the Queen’s Nurse Award

That the Parliament congratulates Lisa McArthur, who is an Advanced Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist, Emma Lindsay, Team Leader for Health and Homelessness, and Jennifer Crawford, a Health Visitor Team Leader, who are from Lanarkshire, on being awarded what it sees as the prestigious title, Queen’s Nurse; recognises that this accolade reflects the highest standards in community nursing and that the three nurses successfully completed a nine-month development programme, which is run by the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland; commends their exceptional commitment to person-centred care and their dedication to improving the health and wellbeing of their communities, and acknowledges the positive impact of their professionalism, compassion and leadership on patients, families and the wider Lanarkshire community.
