Clyde Valley Blackhawks and Pathway Church Spreads Festive Joy Across Wishaw

That the Parliament commends Wishaw’s Pathway Church and the Clyde Valley Blackhawks for their outstanding work across the community, particularly in supporting families struggling during the festive period due to the cost-of-living crisis; notes that the Blackhawks undertook a 24-hour "cycle" to Lapland to raise funds for the church’s toy drive; further notes that the initiative successfully raised £2,240 to support children across Motherwell and Wishaw; acknowledges the dedication of the team and Pathway Church volunteers in combining sport, fundraising and community spirit; thanks all involved for their generosity, and highlights the positive impact that such initiatives have on children and the wider Wishaw community during challenging times.
