That the Parliament congratulates Trump International Scotland on its recent success at the 2025 World Golf Awards, where its new course was named World’s Best Golf Course and Europe’s Best New Golf Course, alongside recognition for its contribution to golf tourism and hospitality; believes that these achievements place Aberdeenshire firmly on the global golfing map and strengthen Scotland’s reputation as the Home of Golf; recognises what it sees as the significant economic benefits that this development brings to the North East, including job creation, increased visitor numbers, and growth in local hospitality and supply chains; understands that the investment in world-class facilities has attracted international attention and is helping to drive sustainable tourism in the region, and calls on the Scottish Government to work with VisitScotland and local partners to ensure that this success is maximised for the benefit of businesses and communities across Aberdeenshire and the wider North East economy.
