Radio Skye Named Community Station of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Radio Skye on winning the Radio Station of the Year category at the UK-wide Community Radio Awards 2025; recognises that Radio Skye has been broadcasting as a full-time station since 2004, reaching communities in Skye, Lochalsh and Wester Ross; notes the station's efforts in broadcasting to remote and rural parts of the region; observes Radio Skye's important role as a public service, particularly in providing the area's news, community information and Gaelic-language broadcasting; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of charitable and not-for-profit radio as a voice for communities in the wider media landscape; thanks all involved in the station for continuing to deliver for Skye and its surrounding areas, and wishes them every success for the future.
