That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of the European Rural Parliament (ERP) meeting; notes that the sixth ERP will take place from 21 to 23 October 2025, in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire; understands that the 400 delegates will draw on their experiences of local, national and cross-border rural development, including across north east Scotland, to address issues relating to climate, demographic and political shifts, with transformative responses to these rooted in sustainability, solidarity and place-based knowledge being explored; notes that the coalition of European networks, the European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD), the European Rural Community Alliance (ERCA), Partnership for Rural Europe (PREPARE) and Rural Youth Europe, will work with the hosts, Scottish Rural Action, Aberdeenshire Council and the Scottish Government, and aim to ensure a successful event, and wishes the sixth ERP every success with its deliberations and conclusions.
