That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the Montrose Urban Guerillas, known locally as MUGs, which is a new volunteer-led initiative under the umbrella of the ProMo - Montrose Development & Improvement project; recognises the group's mission to enhance and revitalise outdoor spaces across Montrose through creative and community-driven action; acknowledges the commitment of local volunteers who are giving their time and energy to improve the town’s environment, from planting and painting to tidying and transforming public areas; notes what it sees as the innovative and inclusive spirit of the project, which encourages residents to take pride in their surroundings and contribute to the wellbeing and appearance of their community, and wishes the MUGs and the wider ProMo initiative every success as they continue to aim to make a visible and lasting difference across Montrose.
