That the Parliament congratulates the Piper Whisky Bar in Glasgow upon winning the best bar or pub award at the West of Scotland Thistle Awards 2025; understands that the regional final of the awards took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, in Glasgow, on 25 September and that the awards are an annual celebration of excellence in tourism and hospitality; recognises that the bar, which overlooks George Square, is known for its warm welcome, atmosphere, central location and whisky selection; commends all of the team at the bar who work hard to create a Scottish experience for locals and tourists alike; further commends them for achieving success in the midst of what it sees as challenging times in the industry, and wishes the team all the best for the continued success of the bar in the future.
