Promoting Independence for Neurodiverse Young People in the Scottish Borders

That the Parliament welcomes the Borders Additional Needs Group receiving £246,283 in funding from the National Lottery; notes that the funding will support neurodiverse young people aged 16 to 25 in their transition to adulthood and more independent living; recognises the organisation’s whole-family and  person-centered approach to providing practical and emotional support to families of children with additional support needs, and commends its dedicated youth programmes and peer support initiatives that help young people reach their full potential.
