That the Parliament congratulates Macauley’s Fruit & Veg Merchant in Burntisland on its 10th anniversary; commends the growth of the award-winning greengrocers from a modest family-run shop in 2015 to a thriving independent food hub; acknowledges its commitment to fresh, locally sourced, high quality fresh and organic fruit and vegetables, its support for the area's growers and start-ups and its role in revitalising Burntisland’s High Street; welcomes the launch, in collaboration with Unorthodox Roasters, of its specially blended coffee to mark this milestone, Fruit Loop; recognises what it sees as the vital role that small independent food retailers play in strengthening communities; believes that the success of Macauley’s is testament to the power of local enterprise, community loyalty and high-quality service, and wishes its owner, Ross, and the team, continued success.
