That the Parliament congratulates Meethill Primary, in Peterhead, on being named Scots Schuil o the Year at the 2025 Scots Language Awards; notes that this was in recognition of its commitment to integrating local dialect into the curriculum; recognises that this achievement highlights the school’s dedication to celebrating and preserving Scotland’s linguistic heritage, and its ambition to make Scots a living, breathing part of pupils’ education; commends the teachers and staff of Meethill for what it sees as their innovative approach and courage in weaving Scots into teaching and school life, and hopes that this recognition serves as inspiration to other schools across Scotland to embrace Scotland's language, culture and identity.
