Fallin Boxer, Alan Perrie, Competes in the World Championships

That the Parliament congratulates the boxer, Alan Perrie, on competing for Scotland in the World Championships; understands that Alan, who is from Fallin in Stirling, made it to the quarter finals where he fought Rami Kiwan, the current European Champion and an Olympian; commends Alan for his eighth place finish at his first World Championship; considers this an excellent achievement; notes that Alan has been proudly supported by people involved with boxing in Fallin, Stirling, and across Scotland; understands that Alan trains with the Doghouse Gym, and believes that he is an excellent role model for the young people who attend classes there, and an inspiration for the community and boxers throughout Scotland.
