That the Parliament recognises the contribution of Asda Hamilton in supporting communities through the Asda Foundation; notes that the store awarded £3,000 to The Organic Growers of Bothwell, which promotes community gardening, healthy eating and sustainable food; further notes that £1,000 was given to Larkhall Universal Connections, which provides support and activities for children and young people and £1,000 to Trust Jack Foundation, which supports young people with their wellbeing; understands that these grants will help these organisations continue to deliver vital services that support health and development in the community, and welcomes the efforts of Asda Hamilton in empowering charities to create opportunities for children and families.
