Inverness City Boxing Club Success at King of the North Box Cup

That the Parliament congratulates Inverness City Boxing Club on its recent success at the King of the North Box Cup; notes that around 200 boxers took part in the two-day tournament, which was held at Bucksburn Academy in Aberdeen on 7 and 8 June 2025; commends in particular the achievements of Angus Alexander, who won gold in the 92kg category, and Jonathan Karnphan, who won gold in the 60kg category; understands that Angus and Jonathan are aged 18 and 17 respectively, and that Angus has only been boxing for eight months; notes that Inverness City Boxing Club, which was reformed in 1997, has produced multiple male and female champions over the years, and caters for all ages and abilities; appreciates the dedication and commitment required to realise these achievements, and wishes Inverness City Boxing Club continued success and enjoyment in the future.
