Celebrating the Launch of Affric Highlands as a Standalone Charity

That the Parliament congratulates the Affric Highlands initiative on becoming a standalone organisation and achieving charitable status; understands that this milestone marks the culmination of three years of development and incubation by the conservation charity Trees for Life; acknowledges the leadership of Stephanie Kiel, who joined Trees for Life in November 2021 as team leader for the initiative and now serves as executive director of Affric Highlands; celebrates the initiative’s vision for large-scale ecological restoration and community regeneration across the Central Highlands, and wishes the new organisation every success as it embarks on this exciting new chapter in delivering nature-based solutions and supporting thriving communities in the region.
