That the Parliament applauds Netherthird Primary School on receiving a Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland; understands that this award is in recognition of the school’s achievements in putting sport at the heart of its planning, practice and ethos; considers that this award also shows that Netherthird Primary is committed to increasing young people’s opportunities and engagement in physical education, school sport, leadership, and encouraging life-long participation in sport; believes that participation in sport is important for young people’s development and health, and welcomes schools like Netherthird Primary encouraging sporting success.
