To ask the Scottish Government what action it is taking to tackle isolation and loneliness.
Answer
Addressing social isolation is key to improving wellbeing and supporting people to participate in their community. That is why we have created a £500,000 Social Isolation and loneliness fund to support community-based projects tackling social isolation and its impact. We will also develop and implement a national strategy to tackle social isolation in Scotland.
