To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S3W-9255 by Shona Robison on 19 February 2008, what steps NHS boards are taking to ensure that diabetic patients on rosiglitazone who suffer from ischaemic heart disease or peripheral arterial disease are no longer prescribed this medicine, as it is no longer recommended by the European Medicines Agency for these patients.
