Transport Committee

The Transport Committee was established in June 2026. It focuses on devolved transport matters in Scotland including:

  • maintaining and improving transport networks – including roads, pavements, railway lines, cycle paths, canals, and publicly owned airports
  • public transport services, including buses and coaches, rail services, ferry services, and air services
  • walking, cycling and accessible transport
  • freight services, taxis, and private car use
  • transport policy and budgets.
