Climate Action Committee

The Committee was established in June 2026. It focuses on issues relating to:

  • climate change mitigation and adaptation, and climate justice
  • national and international greenhouse gas emission reduction targets and achieving net zero emissions
  • environmental quality, protection and regulation
  • water (drinking water quality and regulator)
  • circular economy and waste
  • biodiversity and nature recovery targets
