1. Declaration of interests:

The Committee chose Sue Webber MSP as the Convener.

3. Subordinate legislation:

Clare Haughey, Minister for  Children and Young People moved—S6M-04165—That the Education, Children and Young People Committee recommends that the Cross-border Placements (Effect of Deprivation of Liberty Orders) (Scotland) Regulations 2022 be approved.

The motion was agreed to.

The Committee heard evidence from—

Audrey Cumberford, Commissioner, Commission on the College of the Future;

Professor Sir Peter Scott, Commissioner for Fair Access;

Nora Senior, Chair, Enterprise and Skills Strategic Board.
